New River Land Trust works to protect the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the New River region in Virginia. They collaborate with landowners and communities to preserve essential landscapes, promote sustainability, and ensure public access to the outdoors for future generations.

Project Summary

For this project, I rebranded the New River Land Trust, a nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving farmland, forests, open spaces, and historic sites in Virginia’s New River region. The goal was to create a modern, versatile identity that reflects the organization’s deep connection to the land and community.

Through research and exploration, I developed a logo system and visual brand that honors the local landscape, featuring elements like the New River, Appalachian Mountains, and sun to represent renewal, strength, and natural flow. The design is clean, scalable, and adaptable across various applications, from signage and social media to apparel and outdoor gear.
